Business / Announcements:
● The calendar was reviewed:
o The next monthly meeting is March 24 with a presentation by Gina Pantastico of Cloud9 Fabrics.
o The next Sew Day is March 21.
o Cobblestone Quilters Show is Fri-Sun, Mar 20-22, 2026 at the Trident Tech Convention Center. Quilt intake is Mar 16.
Committee Updates:
● Charities: Coordinated by Molly Piepenburg, no update.
● Programs: Coordinator Connie Zafiris requested feedback for future programs and suggestions of any speakers from QuiltCon. A suggestion was made to teach faced binding. The committee also includes Amy Southerland, Kate Weston, and Amy Mauldin.
● Community Outreach and Special Events committees need coordinators..
● Sew Days: coordinated by Jean Craig, no update.
● Swaps/Challenges: Coordinated by Irene Waalboer and Elaine Woodward. Phoebe Harrell presented a 2026 guild sew along schedule with #midnightgardenquilt and #nightgardenquilt as examples. If planning to swap blocks with others, use a dark background for uniformity. Phoebe will distribute an email with more info.
● Christmas Stockings: coordinated by Alice Anthony, no update.
Program: Members met with their committees for the guild’s annual planning meeting.
Members shared their quilts and specialty items at Show and Tell.
